Welcome to Cathy’s The Second Slice. The Second Slice is dedicated to baking fresh custom cakes made with only the finest ingredients for any occasion. I specialize, custom design and personalize your beautiful cakes by your own specifications to make the cake of your dreams from hand-sculpted cakes to elaborate and elegant wedding cakes. I offer a variety of flavors for all cakes and cupcakes and continue to experiment with many different flavor combinations.
How we got started
My cake business was established in May 2012, In Oakville, Ontario. I designed a cake for my son’s 2nd birthday. The cake was “Lighting, from the Cars movie.” When I put the cake on the table, everyone was inquiring as to where I purchased such a beautiful cake. Once I told them I did it, I immediately got my first order for a birthday cake. Since then, I have taught myself and continue to learn all of the techniques needed to create such beautiful and delicious cakes. I am continuously experimenting with new flavors and designs. I made cakes for family and friends until I was comfortable enough to start my dream business. Now Here I am! Ready to share my delicious beautiful cakes with the World!
